LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION
Apartments Antuninska are a one Bedroom and (2 x) Studio apartments, suitable for parties of one to four persons and located in a residential area of the Old Town of Dubrovnik.
The apartments, in a historic building, are located about 2 minutes walk from shops, restaurants and cafes on the main street (Stradum) as well as the main entrances to the Old Town at Buza Gate (and car park), and Pile Gate (where the main bus station for the old town is located). Each apartment is located on one of the three floors of the building and have a separate entrance.
The interiors retain the original characteristics of the historic building they are located in, as well as enjoying the comforts and conveniences of modern living including features such as air-conditioning/heating, satellite TV, kitchen, shower and toilet and a safe. Although similar, each apartment has a unique feature, such as the top floor apartment has a separate bedroom and better views. The middle floor apartment a balcony, while the ground floor apartment is open plan and spacious.
Antuninska Ulica (street), where the apartments are located in the old town, is a residential quarter and leads directly onto Dubrovnik's most famous restaurant street, Prijeco, before meeting the main boulevard, Stradun.
Apart from finding a wide variety of clothes shops, jewelers, souvenir and book shops, restaurants, cafes, small supermarkets and a (morning) open air fruit and vegetable market (at Gundelic Square), the old town of Dubrovnik (Stari Grad, literally Old Town) is seeped in history and architecture, bestowed upon it from over a thousand years of history and its alliances (with the Vatican in particular) and ongoing struggles with its arch enemies, the mighty, Ottoman, Turkish empire and the mercantile, Venetian empire of the northern Adriatic. Within this colourful historical tapestry, Dubrovnik stands out as the city of Independence, Diplomacy and, above all, Libertas, famously inscribed across its iconic emblems and colourful flags.
For the modern traveler, the old town also offers, numerous sand and stony beaches within and just outside its impressive walls as well as on the pleasant and verdant island of Locrum, a short distance away.
From your door step on Antuninska street, all of this and more is within easy reach; quaint and narrow streets with their potted green and bougainvillea plants, monuments, monasteries and museums and the famous Dubrovnik Summer Festival, which runs from the middle of July to the end of August. Open winter and summer, Antuninska apartments are a comfortable and convenient way to enjoy your time in Dubrovnik. Wireless internet is available using public services in the area or now in the numerous cafes that offer free or private internet services.

APARTMENTS
The apartments retain the features of the historic residential living quarters with wooden beams, whitewashed walls and wooden shutters as well as having charming views of narrow streets, terra cotta roof tops and city walls/Minceta Tower in the near distance ( Apt 3). They also have all the conveniences of modern living such as air conditioning, Sat TV, cooking facilities and tasteful furnishings. All apartments are registered and categorized according to Croatian Government official standards. They are officially 3 star apartments, except apartment 2 which is 2 star, (due to a slightly lower ceiling of 1.95m - 2 metres is the official recommended height).
STUDIO APARTMENTS Studio apartments (I, II & IV) consist of fully equipped kitchen area with 2 ring cooker, electric kettle and fridge; living room with dining table cum bedroom and separate bathroom(Wash hand basin shower, and toilet). They are fully equipped and tastefully decorated in traditional style and include air conditioning /heating system and SAT TV and safe. Apartment II sleeps a maximum of 2 persons has a small traditional balcony. Apartment I is slightly larger, sleeps a maximum of 3 persons and has recently undergone a full refurbishment, giving it a spacious and open plan aspect. Apt IV sleeps (2+1) persons and also undergone a full refurbishment.
ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT Apartment III consists of 1 double bedroom, a living room and dining area and fully equipped kitchen area with 2 ring cooker, electric kettle and fridge. The living room has a fold out sofa bed that can sleep two more persons. The apartment is approximately 35 SqM and has safe, Air conditioning/heating system and Sat TV. There is a separate bathroom with wash hand basin shower and toilet. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons. Due to its elevation it has views of the city walls, Minceta Tower.
