Pile Gate

At the entrance gate to the Old Town from the west there is a stone bridge within two Gothic arches, designed by Paskoje Milicevic (1471). That bridge ends at another bridge, wooden drawbridge which used to be pulled up every evening. Above the bridges, over the arch, the statue of city patron , St Blase (Sv. Vlaho) is set.
