Overview:
Walk the streets of Old Town Dubrovnik, accompanied by one of our experienced guides, explore the ancient city Cavtat and Konavle valley with its picturesque villages, fields and mountains dramatically descending into the sea.
Itinerary:
This guided tour starts at Pile, the entrance gate to Old Town, part of the famous fortress walls surrounding Dubrovnik. Our expert guide will walk you through the history, legends, and folklore of Dubrovnik. Visit museums and churches, including Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, Cathedral of Our Lady, Church of Sv. Vlaho, Franciscan Monastery, one of Europe's oldest synagogues, and many more of the incredible attractions Dubrovnik offers.
You will also be given some leisure time to explore the maze of charming medieval back streets or relaxing at one of the street's many outdoor cafes.
After leisure time the tour continues to a spectacular panoramic spot with views over Old Town Dubrovnik, Island Lokrum and the sea.
Tour continues to the near-by town Cavtat, only a 20 minute bus or ferry ride away. It is a smaller version of Dubrovnik but is equally enjoyable to explore.
After the beauties of Cavtat we drive you through the Konavle countryside with its valleys and hills, passing by beautiful villages in the inland and nice cozy fisherman villages along the sea line. This region with its small villages is often compared with Provence.
