House Katarina is located in Mlini, a charming village in the vicinity of Dubrovnik. Namely, the Old Town Dubrovnik is only 7 kilometers away from us.

On the other side, 6 kilometers away, the picturesque town Cavtat is situated. Mlini is well connected with neighboring villages Srebreno and Kupari by roads, but also by foot with nice long paths along the sea coast.

Mlini has a very nice clean beach. Close to it you can find several cozy restaurants, supermarket, bakery, general store, post office, bank and a pharmacy. A regular boat line from Mlini will take you to Dubrovnik, island Lokrum and Cavtat. Regular bus lines (every hour) go to Dubrovnik and Cavtat, with the bus stop only 50 meters from our home.

So, due to the vicinity of so many attractive places, our guests can organize their own unique vacation. Host of House Katarina speaks english, german, french and italian and will help you in every way.

General information about Mlini - Župa Dubrovačka.

Mlini is a part of a region named Zupa Dubrovacka, well known by its bay where tourist resorts Plat, Mlini, Srebreno and Kupari are situated, Zupa is also famous for it's beaches spread along the coastline. This region is surrounded by a chain of hills, presenting beautiful contrasts to the blueness of the sea. Due to favorable climatic conditions Zupa abounds in subtropical vegetation. Village Mlini has it's name from the numerous water mills due to rich water sources (mill-mlin), some of whom still exist. In the very center of the village a beautiful small river named Vrelo empties into the sea under the huge old platana tree, one of the symbols of Mlini, a sight many visitors keep in their hearts forever. Due to the mild mediterranean climate and low tourist crowds Mlini presents a perfect choice for peaceful holidays, not only in July and August, but during low season as well.

ACCOMMODATION

We offer our dear guests one cosy, fully equipped studio-apartment for two people(UNIT 1 ) and one spacious, comfortable apartment for 4 persons(UNIT 2). Both of them are situated on the ground-floor of our family house, surrounded by terraces and mediterranean garden. Due to the existence of a door connecting two units, we can also provide accomodation for 6-7 people who wish to spend holidays together.
In that case, we give the key of the mentioned door at disposal of our guests. In front of our house there is a parking illuminated by public lighting during the night.

UNIT 1: Studio - apartment , 17 square meters of space, bedroom with bed for two persons (160 cm width), wardrobe, low table, two tabourets, bathroom with shower, mini-kitchen fully equipped, air conditioning, SAT TV, private entrance, private terrace with table and chairs (12 square meters), sea and garden view.

UNIT 2(4*): Apartment for 4 people ( total area over 50 square meters), consisting of separate bedroom (10 square meters, bed for two persons ( 160 cm width), big wardrobe, small table , two tabourets, safe , large window looking at the garden) , spacious kitchen (17 square meters) which is a dining room at the same time, fully equipped with quality furniture ( dining table with 4 chairs, dishwasher etc) , large living room/bedroom (cca 20 square meters, comfortable bed for two persons (160 cm) which can be very easily transformed into a corner sofa for 4-5 people to sit, commode on which TV set is placed, wardrobe, low table, two tabourets, sliding door connecting this area with the kitchen ), bathroom with shower situated by the kitchen (4,5 square meters, washing machine ).
This unit has also SAT TV, air conditioning, private entrance ,two private terraces with table and chairs(20 square meters), sea and garden view, parking place.

Both units are tastefully furnished and we really tried to create a relaxing domestic atmosphere which would be recognisable.
Our house is surrounded with green mediterranean garden enabling our guests to rest in shade and enjoy in refreshing breeze even during the worst heat.
