Since parking, especially around the Old Town can be a real adventure during summer, we recommend that you use public transportation if goind around Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik has a good public transportation system with busses regularly going to and from the Old Town.
Bus tickets can be purchased at buses, in tabaco shops, at Libertas Company counters at Pile, Main Bus Station and Mokošica, at hotel receptions and in travel agencies.
Bus ticket in Dubrovnik costs 12,00 kn (approximately 1,8€) and is valid for 1 hour. The ticked bought in the bus is the most expensive – 15,00 kn (2€). It is reccommended to have change if buying tickets in bus.
You may purchase Daily bus card for 30,00kn (4€) which is is valid for 24 hr of unlimited travel on the public transportation network, starting from the first validation.
