Inhabited already in ancient times, the township Slano is situated in a picturesque bay with sandy beaches, which is a protected port and shelter during bad weather, only 40 km from Dubrovnik. This small oasis embraced by lush Mediterranean vegetation and crystal clear sea features the remnants of Illyrian settlements, Baroque and Renaissance buildings and other interesting sightseeing possibilities.

If you wish to spend your vacation in a peaceful environment, enjoying the clear see for swimming or sailing, nice beaches, great trails for biking or walking, Slano and Villa Slano offers it all. For swimming you can choose between sand, pebble and rocky beaches, all close to out house.

The vicinity of Dubrovnik, Ston and Peninsula Pelješac, together with the Elafiti Islands, Island Mljet and Korčula, gives you the opportunity to visit all this fascination destinations while staying at Villa Slano.
Slano is rich in cultural and historic monuments such as the 5th century Roman sarcophagi, Franciscan monastery from the 14th century, the Palace of the counts from the 15th century, together with many small churches and chapels.

We have many years of hospitality experience and we try to provide special and dedicated care for each guest. Various Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, all organically grown in our own garden, together with our home made wine and brandy are available for all our guests.
